A Time of EXIT

Exhibition that precedes the public insight and defense of the doctoral art project A Time of EXIT, work on the Digital Art program, Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade. The mentor is Aleksandra Jovanić, Assoc. Prof., PhD in Arts.
The subject of the paper is based on the idea of an imaginary journey through the time dimension, on an attempt to peek into a part of the past and perceive certain segments, details, events. It is also a multi-screen digital film, in which shots of the present are shown on the main, large screen, and shots are from the same space on a small moving screen, but at another time, in the past, where the image on the inner screen mostly moves. For example, videos or animated segments that may be related to the future.
The exhibition showed segments of individual works that influenced the development of the idea of the doctoral art project, the film Premotaj (Rewind, 2009), the film Procep (Fissure, 2011), part of the multimedia event “100 Years of the First Dolly Shoot”, “Belgrade, Calendar in 12 Images”,…
