A medieval temple of spirituality and a monument of historical and cultural-artistic significance not only in our country, but in the entire Balkans. Located on a plateau near the river Jerma, near the village of Poganovo, between Pirot and Dimitrovgrad, it is better known as the Poganovo Monastery. However, the oldest sources mention it only as the Monastery of St. John the Theologian.
