The film shows not only a documentary testimony of the missionary role of the Bishop Nikolaj Velimirovic, but also the atmosphere that existed during his activity, both in Serbia and around the world. Once again, the tragic role of the Serbian people in recent world history was seen, but at the same time the moral and spiritual stagnation of Europe.
The documentary film “The Mission” was made as part of the celebration of the centenary of the First World War and testifies to the missionary work of the then monk Nikolaj Velimirovic during the four years of war.
